Hull House Clearance and Property Clearance Services
Hull has a housing character all of its own, with terraced streets off Hessle Road and Holderness Road, grand Victorian villas around the Avenues and big post-war estates to the north and east. Our licensed team clears properties of every kind across the city, sorting, recycling and donating as we go.
Clearing Properties Across Kingston upon Hull
We cover the whole Hull City Council area, as well as the East Riding villages that sit right on its edge, such as Hessle, Anlaby, Cottingham and Willerby. Whether you need a two-up two-down emptied for sale, a family home cleared after a bereavement or a shop vacated at the end of a lease, the process is the same. We visit, look at everything and listen to what you want, then provide a clear quote. Usable items are donated where possible and the rest is recycled or responsibly disposed of.

Our Clearance Services
Victorian Terraces, Student Lets and Riverside Flats
A lot of Hull's older housing is laid out in the city's distinctive terraces: short rows of houses set back from the main street and reached along a shared path. We're used to the extra carrying they involve. Around the University of Hull, near Newland Park and Cottingham Road, we clear shared houses for landlords between tenancies. Elsewhere we empty larger Victorian and Edwardian houses in the Avenues, flats in the city centre and marina area, and homes on the bigger estates for families and housing providers.
Planning Access and Loading in Hull
Because many Hull terraces don't have road access right to the front door, the survey is where we plan the carry route and decide where the vehicle can wait. In the Avenues and parts of the city centre, parking can be busy, so we time loading to keep disruption down. Hull is flat, which helps, but long walkways still need enough hands. Everything removed is sorted for reuse, recycling or licensed disposal, and you receive the paperwork to show it.
Hull Clearance Questions
Can you clear a terraced house without road access to the front door?
Yes. Many of Hull's terraces are reached along a shared path. We plan the carry route at the survey and bring enough people to move everything to the vehicle efficiently.
Do you cover Hessle, Cottingham and the villages near Hull?
Yes. Alongside the city itself, we cover Hessle, Anlaby, Willerby, Kirk Ella and Cottingham, and further afield we regularly work in Beverley, Goole and across the wider East Riding.
Do you clear student houses near the university?
We do. We help Hull landlords and letting agents clear shared houses at the end of the academic year, including furniture, bedding, kitchenware and bagged waste left behind.
Can you handle a probate clearance if I live outside Hull?
Yes. Many executors don't live locally. We can arrange key access, agree by phone what's being kept, carry out the clearance and send updates so you don't need to travel.
Do you clear commercial premises in Hull?
Yes. We clear offices, shops, warehouses and storage units across the city, removing furniture, shelving and old stock, and plan the work around your lease or handover date.
How much will my Hull clearance cost?
Every property is different, so we don't work from a price list. We carry out a free survey and then give you a clear quote based on the volume, access and items involved.
